Senior Data Analyst | SQL & Power BI

At Possumus, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a company in the insurance industry and contribute to the analysis and evolution of its data ecosystem.

In this role, you will analyze information from different business units, monitor key business indicators and identify insights that support commercial opportunities and business growth.

You will work closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other stakeholders, ensuring data quality and transforming business needs into reliable analytical solutions.

What you will be doing


  • Monitor business KPIs and analyze data to identify trends, insights and commercial opportunities.
  • Use SQL to combine information and generate relevant business metrics.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Monitor data ingestion processes and perform quality controls across the Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Propose improvements focused on data quality, efficiency and process automation.

Minimum requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in analytical roles focused on developing and monitoring business KPIs.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Solid experience in data modeling and analytics.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, MicroStrategy or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience performing data analysis and translating information into business insights.
  • Understanding of data quality, integrity and ingestion validation practices.
  • Experience working in Agile or multidisciplinary environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a methodical way.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and environments.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security and privacy standards.

Location & Work Model

  • 📍 Fulltime Hybrid position (9 am- 6 pm)
  • Buenos Aires – Parque Patricios
  • On-site attendance 2 a week
